Delete Your AnklePath Account & Data

This page explains how to delete your AnklePath account and the personal data associated with it. AnklePath is an educational ankle-recovery app. You can delete your account yourself at any time from inside the app, or ask us to do it for you.

Option 1 — Delete it yourself in the app (immediate)

Open AnklePath and go to the Profile tab.
Scroll to the Legal section and tap Delete account.
Read what will be removed, then tap Delete everything.
If you signed in a while ago, you may be asked to confirm it is you — with Apple or Google this is a single tap, and with an email account you enter your password.
Your account and data are deleted straight away, and the app returns to the start screen.

Tip: before deleting, you can keep a copy of your data with Profile → Export my data. Deletion cannot be undone.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

Email 24.stom.wasswatimothy@gmail.com from the address linked to your account.
Use the subject line "Delete my account".
Include the name on your AnklePath profile so we can locate your data.

What data is deleted

When your request is verified, we delete the personal data associated with your account, including:

Your account record and sign-in identifier (email/name from Apple, Google, or email sign-in, or your anonymous guest ID).
Your recovery inputs: injury type and timing, symptoms, walking ability, and recovery goals.
Your pain and swelling check-ins and exercise-completion history.
Your profile photo, if you added one.

What data may be kept, and for how long

Data	Retention after deletion
Account & recovery data (above)	Deleted within 30 days of a verified request.
Aggregated / anonymized analytics that can no longer identify you	May be retained for product statistics.
Records we must keep for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons	Kept only as long as required by law, then deleted.

Tip: Signing out of AnklePath also clears your locally stored progress on that device. A deletion request additionally removes your data from our servers.
